Three roles, one producer
My best events happen when I get groups working on the same show. I know the Bay Area's collectives, talent, vendors, security teams and venue owners.
Executive producer
Budgets from $3K to $150K, ticket pricing and cost-sharing deals. Security, box office, harm reduction, permits and venue relations.
Creative director
The theme and the world guests walk into: immersive rooms, interactive art, performers, lineups and the marketing around them.
Technical director
Site, power, sound and lighting plans, then FOH as A1 on my own Wing Rack and MR18, on BassBoss, QSC and Funktion-One rigs. Twelve years as a senior mechanical engineer behind it.
